After nearly 11 years at Springhill Home Health and Hospice, Clinical Administrator Jessica said, “it’s the little things in life that can be the most cherished and important to a person with a life-limiting illness.” As she reminisced about her most cherished hospice memories, she recalled a patient’s excitement when she treated him to his favorite meal on his birthday. Prior to serving as Clinical Administrator, Jessica was an RN Case Manager for three years. She said she loves being a nurse. “There is nothing else I would want to do as my career,” she said. “It is a calling for me, especially hospice. I started my first ten years as a nurse in the hospital, but hospice hands down has brought me the most joy as a nurse.” When she is not serving others, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband Christopher and their three boys—Dylan, Justin, and Braylon. She also enjoys camping, shopping, boating, and watching college football.
